Helping you shorten time to pregnancy & improve live births

Assisted Reproductive Therapies (ART) can be challenging for couples and researchers. Success rates are variable, and many clinics opt for multiple embryo implants to help parents successfully conceive. These pregnancies have clear advantages but carry a higher risk of multiple fetuses, early labour, and low birthweight. Better embryo screening before the transfer can help address many of these challenges. ANNAIDA is dedicated to helping ART clinics reduce the number of embryos transferred in an IVF cycle down to one. We aim to partner with ART clinics to shorten time to pregnancy, improve live births, and ultimately improve patient retention and treatment rates.

A better-informed embryo screening process

Despite many recent advances in the field of reproductive medicine, the efficiency of ART remains relatively low. With live birth rates per cycle below 30%, there is a need for reliable and non-invasive methods of embryo selection to ensure that only embryos with the highest developmental potential are chosen for transfer to mothers-to-be.

Easy, fast & on-site

Embryo screening and selection with EmbryoSpin is designed to be fast, easy, and on-site. EmbryoSpin uses micro-sensors to analyze the metabolites inside individual embryos. Operators can place multiple embryos from the same patient inside the device and connect this to a machine for analysis. Screening results are seamlessly delivered in just one hour. Thanks to a straightforward reading embryos are classified according to their viability for transfer.

Embryospin can be conveniently applied as an add-on to a clinic’s workflow.

Join us to pioneer metabolomic embryo research

ANNAIDA is pioneering studies on the effectiveness and safety of micro-MRS for embryo screening. An investigation is underway at the renowned University Hospital CHUV in Lausanne, Switzerland. Are you interested in piloting and publishing a study in your institution? Reach out to us.
