Micro-MRS (Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy)
Capture the metabolic fingerprint of microscopic life
ANNAIDA’s technology, micro MRS, leverages gold standard Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and takes it down to the micro scale, allowing you to capture the metabolic footprint of microscopic life.
With EmbryoSpin ANNAIDA can now characterize the metabolic fingerprint of delicate 3D biological samples without the need for invasive procedures or toxic additives/contrast agents. Operating entirely label-free, EmbryoSpin can analyze microtissues, embryos, organoids, and much more.
For the safe and reliable measurements of samples down to 50 microns in size
EmbryoSpin leverages micro MRS technology to detect and quantify compounds found in microscopic life. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy is a non-invasive analytical technique that has been used to study metabolic changes in brain tumors, strokes, seizure disorders, and more. Thanks to its chemical sensitivity and non-invasive nature, MRS is recognized as the gold standard for in-vivo diagnostics. For the first time, ANNAIDA’s technology can take MRS down to the microscale, allowing researchers to analyze samples from 50 microns to 1 millimeter in size.

EmbryoSpin: Fast, simple, ultra compact and flexible
The EmbryoSpin device is an ultra-compact magnetic resonance sensor with a microchip at its heart. The microchip is produced using easily scalable technologies, similar to the ones used in phones and laptops. Organisms are placed in the EmbryoSpin sensor and then analyzed using a magnet. The organism’s metabolic fingerprint is seamlessly obtained. Fast, simple, and easy to use EmbryoSpin yields a complete reading of the chemistry inside your 3D biological samples and eliminates the need for multiple cumbersome techniques. EmbryoSpin can be used as an add-on to an existing or newly purchased magnet. Are you interested in learning more about EmbryoSpin and its components?
